Future Poster Proposal

I am creating a horror poster because it’s my favourite genre; its also interesting as it creates excitement and suspense.  I found some ideas on what i can create on my poster as they tend to have dark colour such as: red, black , green, grey where its mostly red in every horror, i’m gong to create a unique poster with black and grey colours. The font is mostly bold and sharp at the top or the side of the poster; with a sinister tag line to intrigue to represent a lifeless feel to the poster signifying death  the audience. The titles are mostly red, black or white to stand out to represent death and blood to make the audience realise the genre was horror. The title is made with on or two main words means its easier to remember. Sometimes there are close ups on the main image this attracts the attention of the entire audience. The firstly to create my poster of my face using close up angle me in  my face expression is in that position to give a sense looking possessed of me as  lifeless.what inspired me to do that was a movie called ‘The Return’, ‘Mirrors’, the angles of a face close up builds tension and mystery it could be perceived that i’m the main character. Then i’m going to edit the picture using Photoshop to enhance the picture making it look surreal using a technique called Vignette to blur the outsides of poster making it appear darker and to add a red hue to my face get the fear of terror that the surroundings i’m in is in darkness to give that sense of decay. My film title is named ‘chilling visions’ .The font is going to be bold with sharp edges of the letters and white and red to have that sinister effect that something tragic is going to happen, i’m going to download a custom font from a website called ‘ Dafont.com’ to Photoshop on the text icon. then merge it to the poster. Also i will add the ’18+’ on my poster all in red but a fade in effect to merge with the poster. Ill add the white credits at the bottom the the poster where usually most posters of any genre have that. I have used primary research by doing a questionnaire this link below….. The benefit of this gave me more creative ideas to my film poster. Aswell as getting ideas from different posters. Where you can easily see the resemblance of my poster ideas
