Methods for Photoshop
This is what helped me to remember how to use the tools.
To rotate image: Edit > Transform > Scale, Rotate
To resize an image: Edit, transform, scale
Merge image two images together: Open image goes to the image tab, Windows, Arrange, 2 up vertical, then to the right click on the background then, click on the layer from the background. Then drag the image to the main page, go on select then and click deselect.
Cut around a specific object: A magnetic lasso tool to get rid of bits of an object without rubbing another image out behind it
Place an image on a plain background: then I clicked on solid colour for a white background and then drag it under the trainer layer to make it sit on top
Warp image
